Klanglicht 2017

XAL sponsors event in Graz

XAL sponsored the two-day “Klanglicht 2017” event this past April, which drew over 50,000 spectators to the Mur river in the Austrian city of Graz.

Eleven artists from six different countries displayed compositions of colors, tones and texts into the night sky.

The artworks were a composition of color, tones and texts that were sent into the night sky. Electromagnetic waves reproduced the natural movement of the river Mur “creating a mixture of laser-light-waves and transparency that blurred the line between reality and reflection” according to artist OchoReSotto.

Janet Echelman, a participating artist, created flowing sculptures that resembled a carpet of colors. Visual artist and experimental film producer OchoReSotto, presented his collection of collages and video installations.
